In NY when you have your vehicle inspected the technician has to pull codes from the OBD2 port with key on and then with key on vehicle running. I have a Bullydog so when they go to run their inspection will unplugging it with the truck running harm anything or throw a code?

You have a 2012 correct? If so they don't need to or shouldn't have to. Prior to me trading my 2012 1500 I had to have an inspection done and they just did a visual inspection

Even if they do hook up to the OBDII port, it will not affect your tuner. Once you load the tune, it is saved into your trucks computer. The only reason for leaving the BD plugged in now is so that you can use the monitor and gauges. You can remove the monitor at anytime without affecting the tune that is already saved into your trucks computer.
