Installed Air Designs fender flares today. Fit and finish are extremely good quality, and no more worrying about rub from my previous Bushwackers because the bolts are actually holding the fender flares to the fender without drilling holes in them. I like them because they’re tall, fit the lines of the truck, have splash guards molded into the design, and don’t stick out since my tires are only about 1/2” outside the fenders. I realize this style isn’t for everyone but it is right for me. I’ve also bought the fender vents, rocker panels and tailgate panel which I’ll be installing once spring gets here!

How are the bolts holding onto it without drilling?

They have an interesting shape. Not sure if they're my bag, but if you like them, cool. I think with your truck all black they may look better with the bolts black also. Just a thought.

Yeah, I can always unbolt them and get them powder coated. I have too much black on there already, though.

So, they're essentially glued on to the truck. No bolt goes through any part of the truck. You do have the ability to unscrew them which, I guess makes it easier to rotate them every 5k miles. :)

Weird.....on my way home tonight while stuck in traffic, a lifted white Ram pulled up beside me and he had this exact same kit but his were gloss black. He had the flares, fender vents, tailgate panel, hood scoop and front bumper trim all in gloss black. His was the first one I had seen in person.

I’m glad other Ram owners are liking this also.

At first glance i thought i was looking at a honda ridgeline. If your happy with them, thats all that matters.

From the company web site it looks like they also have flares that have the Bushwacker pocket flare look also.

They’re all the pocket flare look. The difference is the Air designs won’t ruin your paint, and the bolts are actually functional.
