I just swapped out all four of my stock shocks today for Bilsteins. I set them to 2.8 in the front. It sits higher in the front, will there truck level out or will i have to take them out again and set them down to 2.1??

Have you measured? And the shocks usually don't sag "break in", springs will over time but shocks typically stay at same height.

Shocks dont settle, so if you want the front to come down some, you will need to readjust the shocks to the 2.1 setting.

I might have to take them out and set them back down either way as I have the vibration issues in 4x4.

now this is just what i have read on here, but i have read where people said the front settle in and dropped a little. Specifically people who added a spacer in the rear because the front was a little nose high, then were talking about taking the rear spacer out because they had rake again.

Yeah I guess I'll wait and see what happens. It's going in for an alignment later today so I'm hoping that will get rid of my vibration problem. If so I will leave it the way it is for now and see what happens.

If the vibration is still there after alignment I will take it back down to maybe 2.0 or 2.1 whatever the next setting is and see

As you can see in this pic that it looks like I'm nose high. However, the rear has about 3/4" more travel to the wheel than the front.

I haven't had a chance to measure mine yet but maybe mine is the same. However I'm more concerned with the vibration now then I am about it being nose high. So I may end up taking it back apart still anyhow. But thanks.
