Installed S&B

Got my S&B cai installed! I must say, it would have been easier if I wouldn't have done it in a mall parking lot in 20 degree weather. But it gives the engine compartment a nice deep sound! I don't notice much difference until I am at WOT, but when I go WOT you can definitely hear it! I am excited for what is to come.

Thanks to MOE's for helpin me figure out what I want and gettin me set up.

love my S&B, doesn't improve gas but when you get on it you feel it for sure. The install was crazy and i didn't like it but i love how it looks. I want to make something that will come from the down pipe to the front bumper so i can have forced air but there is so much stuff in the way that it makes it hard.

love mine for sure. way better quality than my old k and n. i found it to be quieter than my old one, but i accredit that to being a closed in design. Feels like it flows alot better and comes alive around 4k. I prolly should have posted pics to help moes advertising lol

What was crazy about the install?
I know you have to open up the inner wheel liner to unbolt the OEM air box mount, but was there some other issue?
I'm saving my pennies and have pretty much been talked into the S&B over Volant or Vararam by the discussions on this forum, so any wrinkles, scales or warts associated with S&B install would be relevant to what I do when the piggy bank is full.

@ Casper when I say crazy don’t get me wrong it was easy and if your thinking about it man pull the trigger and buy it….The crazy thing is some of the bolts are in a weird place and some of the clips broke and I wasn’t even pulling hard. Maybe the reason why I think it was crazy is cause I did the typical man thing and didn’t read the instructions and just looked at the pictures. But I love it and I would do it again. I have some pics on my page.

Congrats on the s&b, installed mine a couple months ago and I love it. I have you one small issue with it tho. I don't mean to hijack your thread but did you notice the crank case vent line that goes into the s&b box isn't filtered. Do you think that can eventually cause a problem?
