Hey guys just finished installing my sport style headlights and hid kit in the hi and low beams. Only trouble I'm having is the low beams don't stay on when I hit the hi beams. I've heard you have to reprogram the computer for this to work? Also is there any way to disable my daytime running lights? The low voltage for the daytime running lights makes my highs flicker.

Lights are 6000k and I did the work myself. No wiring needed to be modified but I need to find out about reprogramming the computer so that the lows stay on with the highs. Anybody know how to do this?

And these are "sport" headlights. All sport models come with these "quad" headlights as you guys are calling them.

They look like the Depo black ones? Got a pic without the headlights on?

Also, in Canada..........you can't "legally" turn off the DRLs. And.......Canadian spec trucks all come preprogrammed to NOT keep the lows on when the highs come on, unlike the US spec'd quad equipped trucks.

Hmm we should see if we can figure out how to reprogram to keep the lows on because the highs only cover really far distances and nothing up close.

I'll hardwire if needed but it would be nice to just reprogram

Anyways, looks good still.

Look great, what HID's did you use?
I am interested in hearing if we can reprogram to keep lows on when turning on high beams, or if we can get fogs to stay on with high beams.

I had standard duals, and swapped out for Laramie Quad headlights. I now hate switching on High Beams.
