Hopefully this is in the correct forum. I installed a Smarty MM3 tuner today with custom tunes. As soon as I installed the tune I got a error message that my rear turn signal were out, both of them. I have uninstalled the tuner but I still don’t have rear turn signals, the others work, my horn does not work, and my automatic dimming bright lights do not work. I can’t leave well enough alone so I blame myself but if anybody has any ideas of what is wrong I am all ears. Thanks in advance. ‘14 3500 Megacab DRW

I had a terrible experience with tuners. I gave up and put the stock PCM back in.

Have you contacted the tuner company? That would be my first step.

Not to digress but I have to be honest, after following all the threads on cummins forum there are far more problems created from deleting and tuning then just leaving the truck alone. I don't know what is going on but there is definitely something going on with tuning on that late gen trucks. Not only the usual "I killed my transmission" problems but all kinds of other issues of codes being thrown, things that stop working etc.
I often thought I might delete when my warranty was up but I'm thinking not at this point.

I contacted the tuner company and they told me that it must be a coincidence. Their software could not cause this problem.

Sounds like BS to me. I'd talk to them some more or now that you are stock, have a dealer scan your PCM and BCM.

I put EFI Live tunes on my CTD and had no such problems.

See if you can set it back to the stock tune. Take the negative and positive battery cables off, no contact with the battery at all, join the two cables together ( I did 15 mins). This should deplete any power left in any of the capacitors. I've done this before in a stang, good luck! Hopefully you can rest the PCM this way. You will be resetting your fuel mapping too so be careful on running it hard out of the gate.

like said in the previous post, unplug the battery and wait a few minutes. this solved many issues i had in the past including the bulb out message.
