Installing new audio system in my 05 quad cab

Hey guys, new member and I am currently starting a makeover of my truck. I currently have the stock infinity seven speaker set up with two P3s 10's under my back seat. The other day I blew a 6x9 in the front passenger door and I wanted to get your opinions on this install and see if there are any tips I missed.

These are what I want to install;
Kicker 08KS6930
Kicker 11KS525
JVC KD-A845BT*
MB Quart OA600.4

Are there certain wire kits you would recommend? Should I add sound deadener like dyna mat? Any particular issues with wiring a pretty much all new system? Your input is greatly appreciated.

I have always had good luck with Schoche(sp) wiring kits.
Make sure you have the right gauge of wire for the amp and you should be fine.

I always add sound deadner. I've never looked back and though "I shouldn't have done that" when it comes to deadening.

You shouldn't run into any issues running wire, I just advice that you take you interior completely out (seats, carpet etc) and run everything nice and straight, keeping signal and power wires apart from each other. Make sure nothing it going to rub on it, and tape it all in place. but I'm pretty OCD.

Did you think about using 6 1/2's in the doors? The 6x9's are only used for bass up front, and since you have subs, you could get adapter plates for the doors and throw in a set of 6 1/2's. You'll pick up a good amount of mids and highs, but you'll have to by-pass the amp.

As for sound deadening, dyna mat is a way over priced, wate of money, and not the correct way to do it. Dyna mat is a dampener, which is ment to add mass to a panel to prevent vibration, not block sound. There a guy all over car audio forums who's spent countless hours studying this and testing it in multiple cars and now he sells packages. i agree with jstrag3 get some 6 1/2 up front but make sure they are components and get some tweeters with them fo some highs
