Interior door panel separation

Hello everyone!

has anyone ever seen this issue before? The grab handle on the interior door panel of mine (the one you use to close your door from the inside) is separating from the door frame slightly, with about 1/2” of play now. Any idea on how to fix it?

If I remember correctly there are two screws right below the door pull handle, just need to pop the little pane off and tighten them of they're not stripped out.
