interior room in quad cabs

had a question regarding the interior room on a 3rd gen quad cab? i'm just in the "looking" phase of a 2500 5.9 Cummins QC, and i wondered how adults fit in the back, baby car seats, etc?

Car seats are fine, adults under 6' tall are fine. I am 6'2", and I "fit" in the back, but not comfortably. That was the only reason why I sold my 07 for my current crew cab. Its OK for normal day to day driving, but the longer road trips we take every year were cramped.

ok..... so it would be ok for kiddos to ride in the back until they get to be 6' tall then. good to know!

Yes...no problem for the kids. And if they get to be over 6' tall, just throw them in the bed. The truck you sent me had a camper, so they will be fine...haha.

yeah that could be an option.... just not really feeling the look, maybe it could grow on me though. i was seeing if a QC would work, but if a mega cab is the way to go then that would work.

I can use the extra space, so I am a huge fan of the mega cabs...the quab cab does look more proportional though.

the quad cab will suck for car seats.........trust me.

a BABY seat - can't put that in the middle (big no no!), and you'll have to have the front seat almost all the way forward to fit the baby seat in.

biggest deciding factor on my trading in my 08 with less than 12K on it........to my 4th gen crew - baby seat. The baby seat fits GREAT in a 4g crew.
