Recently while driving I have been having random electrical issues in my 06 Ram. The radio will go on and off randomly sometimes not at all and sometimes a whole bunch right in a row. The airbag indicator will come on and go off. Today I drove over railroad tracks and my radio turned on and off and my blinker went on and off while I turned them on to turn.

Any ideas of what is going on? I have had the truck over two years and never had this issue. Recently within the last two months I had the battery tested and failed. The dealership replaced it with a new mopar battery. I checked the cables to the battery and they are tight, won't even budge.

I would check the chassis grounds, making sure they are clean and tight.

The main one is battery to inside fender. There is another on the passenger fender. There should be one on the rear of each head. On my old truck I've added others tying the PCM to TB to heads and finally to chassis ground. Something is loose and is intermittent and could be a plug loose on the IPM. Check your voltage and if the battery is suspect again then look at the alternator. The voltage regulator is controlled by the PCM. Keep checking you'll find it.
