I have had my 2010 1500 for a year and a half. I had to buy a new key FOB recently and refurbish the second one. I know the FOB's are ok, but they frequently stop working. I'm sure it is something in the truck. Has anyone had this issue, and did you fix it.
I just installed remote start and it works fine until the truck decides to stop talking to the FOB's.

Check your radio antenna connections. I believe the antenna is used to receive the remote signal.

The FOB's talk to the RF hub (not the radio) so the radio antenna has nothing to do with it. The RF hub has it's own antenna.

If your FOB's have new batteries it my be the RF hub having issues? Not sure of a good way to trouble shoot that though other then replacing it.
