Iphone5 Siri

Hi there,

Like some people I am not able to use Siri in the truck or have it read text messages using the iPhone5.

I see there is an upgrade that someone did to uconnect in order to get this working. Has anyone here performed this upgrade?

I got rid of my iPhone.

Sorry, can't really help. I've had iPhones for 6 years and ended up switching to the Note4 a couple of months ago.

I'm pretty sure my 14 does the same thing as in the video , if i press the iPhone button for siri, it acts like I'm in a phone call. Along with talk to text.

Has anyone tried this fix with the 8.4AN yet?

Edit: Got this reply from the guy:

Unfortunately it doesn't work on that radio. There are 3 different suppliers for the Uconnect system and each have different SW versions which makes them incompatible with each other. This will only work on the RES REQ RBZ & RHB radios.
