I currently have a ‘16 ram 2500 and really like this truck. I have had very few issues. I am thinking about getting a ‘19 Ram 1500 and have seen several posts about issues with the 19 model. Are their any 19 owners that are happy with their purchase?

I don't own one, but I have the privilege of access to a few of them. I sort of like them but there are things I don't like. The interior is nice, but the center stack tends to be really cluttered with buttons. If you get a high level of options, the parking feature has a 3D virtual view that is pretty cool. I think the head rests on the new DT trucks have gotten even worse, I was really hoping they'd fix that.

The other plus is the thing drives pretty much like a DS seeing as it's pretty much the same engine and trans (3.6L or 5.7L and 8 speed ZF).

If you get the BSG, the transition from start/stop engine-off to driving is really seamless. The BSG helps give you a little extra power, and a little more fuel economy.

I have a Big Horn, group 2. I’m a no frills guy and some of the group 2 stuff I could do without, but I’m happy with it. I’ve had a couple of problems that the dealer couldn’t duplicate the first 1800 miles, but they haven’t came back. All in all, I’m sure Chevy and Ford have there problems too.

Only had mine for a month, but almost 1800 miles and I love it. There are a lot of people complaining about issues, but I think most of them have been worked out by now. Mine doesn't suffer from any of the issues Ive read about online. From my 2014 1500 Limited to the 2019 1500 Limited the ride quality, quietness of the cabin, technology improvements, etc are all very impressive.

I don't think you will regret upgrading.

I love mine. It is the nicest truck I've ever owned and I've owned a bunch. Rides like a highway cruiser Cadillac while carrying my tools and supplies to the job site.

I love my 2019. I'm coming from a 2014 Ram. I haven't had any issues with mine. I bought it this past May and I have over 6K miles on her.

Love mine! Laramie Sport, 5.7L eTorque, Lvl 1, 8.4 screen w/ nav, off road, rambox, BUG.

Just from what I have seen, most of the issues people have had seem to be tied to the sunroof or 12" screen. Not sure that is exactly right, but seems to be the common threads to me.

With about 300,000 5th gens built, out selling Chevrolet, I'd guess there are plenty of completely satisfied owners out there. That includes me. The ones that aren't gravitate to forums like this and there aren't many percentage-wise.

I came from a Loaded Range Rover HSC in the 2 years I put 960 miles on it. I parked it in the garage and rarely took it out. I preferred my Grand Cherokee Summit. I saw the New Ram 1500 and studied everything I could for almost two weeks. Watched every YouTube available. Found the Triple black with every box checked, took it for a drive and bought it on the spot. I now have in less than two months around 1300 miles and totally love this ride. Its roomier, the seats are awesome and like the Range Rover & G. Cherokee 4 corner air suspension. All the bells and whistles make me happy like a kid again. The interior reminds me of the the size of the Chrysler Imperials interior and its poshness. I love this ride and have not a second thought about it! One brother has a new Ford Raptor and a Platinum both fully loaded and he envy's my ride.

I’ve had mine for a couple of months now. 2019 Limited with Rambox. Switched after owning 8 F-150s over 22 years. I LOVE MY RAM! Wish I’d made the change 15 years ago.
