I’ve had mine for a couple of months now. 2019 Limited with Rambox. Switched after owning 8 F-150s over 22 years. I LOVE MY RAM! Wish I’d made the change 15 years ago.
What made you finally make the switch?

The 19's certainly are nice but I think the real question is are they enough nicer to motivate you to move up from a late model 4th Gen? If you like changing your ride every few years (and modding isn't really your thing) the answer is probably yes. If on the other hand you like sticking with a vehicle for a long time and not having payments (like I do) and you really enjoying modding the heck out of them (also me) to bring them up a level or two sticking with your 4th Gen is probably fine. There really isn't a wrong answer I think it's more a matter of personal preference but if I was to do it I would get the classic model I just like that "classic" Ram look better.

I currently have a ‘16 ram 2500 and really like this truck. I have had very few issues. I am thinking about getting a ‘19 Ram 1500 and have seen several posts about issues with the 19 model. Are their any 19 owners that are happy with their purchase?

heck, I'm still happy with my 1963 Wife.

Drove a Nissan Titan for 10 years. It was a good truck but decided to try the 2019 Ram Laramie Sport. Glad I did! 6000 carefree miles. Great fun to drive!

Me too - except I drove one for 15 years. The new Titan is ugly and was more expensive than the Ram for less of a truck. And my local Nissan dealer sucks. So here I am. Just turned 4k miles and I have no real complaints.

I bought my 2019 1500 Laramie in May of 2018. Historically have been a Ford man but the look of the Ram caught my eye, I compared and test drove an F-150 Lariat, a GMC Denali, Nissan Titan Platnum Reserve, all were nice trucks, but not close to the level of ride, drive and luxury of the Ram. After 1 year of ownership I still Love the truck, Unfortunately I can not say the same for the dealer.

I went from a ‘16 ram 1500 sport with 45000kms on it to a ‘19 sport. Two totally different trucks. There’s no comparison. The 19 is much quieter and more refined than the 16 was. I usually keep my vehicles 10+ years but when I had the chance to get a 19 that was optioned out the way I wanted ( or close enough anyway ) I made the jump.

The new truck is a joy to drive. Not that the 16 was a bad truck, just the 19 is better.

The best truck ever in my opinion, 2019 limited loaded, 5.7 with 392 gears. I love it, 15k, one year old and the only problem so far is every time they do an over the air update to Uconnect I lose my presets on the 12 inch glass. Still loving it!
