Is the 2019+ Media hub compatible with 2018 Ram

I've been searching and I've yet to find this question. I have a 2018 Ram 2500 with 8.4. I'd like to switch the media hub in the center console with the later model with USB-C ports.
The rear connectors look almost identical. I want to relocate my hub closer to the dash.
Here are the 2 media hub part numbers.
2018 68328704ad
2019 68397098AE

Just an FYI. I purchased my UAQ kit from infotainment.com to fit my 2016 Ram. I got another truck, 2019 classic and transferred the head unit to this truck. It had the 5” screen radio. The stock media hub in the truck is NOT compatible. You need part #68328704AD. It’s plug and play. I searched...

tron67j, I've read and re-read that post a few times. The part 68328704A is what I currently have. It has 2 USB A ports and a 3.5mm audio input. The one from the 2019+ has 4 USB, 2 are A and 2 are C and the audio input. I was hoping the plugs in the back were the same but the new hub, 68272254AE, adds USB-C which should provide more power and faster transfer rates. Plus it is a lot cheaper. If I could find the pinout and schematic, I could trace to see if the upgrade would work.
