Trying these 5000 lb jacks made in USA for on the 4 posts. Too big to haul around.Tried them for the first time on the ram and they are adequate.

Should make servicing your 8 speed alot easier on a lift, . They look like they'll lift the back end of the truck high enough to level the transmission Dan

My GFs Nissan Sentra is a PITA to lift because of the lack of clearance.

Plus the ZF project is getting closer for my Warlock.

You need a set of ramps Michael with extenders,lol.My neighbours Vette has no problem driving up on my ramps,the bugger comes and borrows them anytime he has to get under it,lol

I had long approach ramps originally in steel but after a few smashed toes I bought aluminum and use the shorties for the regular vehicles so they don’t get bent

I have an old set of ramps from Princess Auto. They're likely about 30 years old and pretty tough. To be honest, I haven't tried my ramps yet, but I'd bet they would work well for oil changes.

I was thinking of lifting her car more for wheel changes and brake work.

I used to squeeze a small trolley jack under the pinch welds when the car was in my garage.
The last time I drained an overfilled oil change at her place, I used her brother's plastic ramps and renovated the front spoiler.

I like your custom ramps for the ramps. They look very functional and almost indestructible.

Considering i built the extenders probably 30 years ago,they still work good. I had to rebolt the one "L" bracket back on a couple years ago,but that's all i've ever done to them. I built the extenders out of plywood as it's easy to stagger them so they catch the angle of the ramps better,and the L brackets latch into the ramps so they never slide on smooth concrete when you drive up on them.
You could buy a set of the gold plated Race Ramps that do the same thing as my cheap set do,but i'm way to cheap to spend the money they want for a set of the Race Ramps

I can see the functionality.
That alone makes me want a set, but too many other items on the list.

Besides, the GFs car is out of action until we convince Hyundai to replace the motor under a recall or she finds a motor to install that is cheaper than replacing the car.

It looks like the head gasket is toast and it has been parked.

Has anyone deal with EMC before ? and also what the difference between pneumatic and hydraulic ones

The pneumatics take the place of a hand pump. They are hydraulically operated (lift pistons), pneumatically controlled (pump operation).

I like those!
My extenders for my wife's Mazda are more of a basic piece of 2x6 lol.

Bought a Harbor Freight aluminum low profile jack that gets under her car easily and pretty much use that for oil changes now instead of pulling out the ramps.
