In my humble opinion, if you got it from Matt at Moe's, you got top quality stuff. Matt doesn't mess around with junk.
I got JBAs from Matt because I didn't want to deal with broken bolts, warped manifold, the exhaust leak, and all that jazz. I wanted to keep the cats. Had em for quite a while already. I've been very happy with my purchase.
Yeah, I get it, long tubes are the best and my Shortys suck. While I'm at it, I know my 545RFE is junk too. I don't know how I make it thru the day LOL! But seriously, long tubes aren't for everybody.[/QUOTE

I was just looking at the afe I saw they are 409 stainless steel with no ceramic coating how does he like them ?For around the same price you can get AFE shorty headers as well ... we just installed some on @the_goodguy07 's Ram 2 weekends ago

I did like the afe'sWe'll find out .... but so far you can definitely feel the difference with them on ... the sound is now more aggressive when you punch it lol ...
I did like the afe's
Yea I know At least I won't have any problem with broken studs I just replaced them 2 years ago but hoping it's worth itI might get mine in a few weeks ... but let me tell you .. installing them was a PITA ! LOL ... not much room for the bolts behind and under lol ...
But they're not gonna bolt directly to my y pipe and I dont want to replace that or have to do some custom exhaust work. I do have the ability tools and mig welder to do it I just want to keep it as simple and inexpensive as possibleJBA LT's are only like $600...
How did they fit around the dip stick tube ?For around the same price you can get AFE shorty headers as well ... we just installed some on @the_goodguy07 's Ram 2 weekends ago
How did they fit around the dip stick tube ?
I installed a set of those when I decided to fix my broken exhaust bolts. My only advice is make sure you have a 3/8" ratcheting wrench, plenty of time and patience, and buy direct from JBA. When you go to their website, you will get a pop up for a 10% off coupon. I paid less than $600 shipped direct from JBA for the same silver ceramic coated shorties.Looking for shorty headers but im not sure which ones are good. I saw these Silver ceramic one's from moes performance. They look pretty good anybody have them ? Or other recommendations

They fit fine ..I will post some pictures here in a bit ... we did however had to leave the header wrap off .. on the driver's side it was actually cooking it and it was make the wrap smoke big time ... so I ended up taking the wrap off ... we are going to figure something out for a heatshield ...
You used cheap wrap. Spend the money and buy the good wrap next time. It's rated for 1800F direct and 2500 intermitent which is more then your exhaust will ever run.If you're exhaust temps are in excess of 1800F you got big issues, and you're exhaust valves won't be long for this world.
