So my wife and I were in the market for a new 3/4 ton truck and made the mistake of test driving a 2013 Megacab Laramie with the Hemi in it first. After that, we looked at some GMCs, a Chevy, and a couple Fords. All of them fell short in one aspect or another.
Long story short, we went back to the Laramie and now it's in our driveway, Merry Christmas to us.
This is the nicest, most well equipped vehicle either of us has ever purchased: black leather, sunroof, touchscreen, heated seats front and rear, "Ram Box", backup camera, etc.
We have been planning to upgrade our travel trailer and needed to get out of our 2007 Expedition to find more towing capacity.
Dealer threw in some chrome side steps because my wife is 4'11" and we asked nicely…
Reasonable plans:
Running board running lights, LED light bar (a wintertime in AK must have, IMO) and, eventually, a DVD in the roof for the kiddos.
Anyhow, I'm Jeff from Fairbanks, AK, and I look forward to interacting on the forums.
