Jegs plasma cutter

Does anyone have any experience with the jegs 40amp plasma cutter?
It has 1 year warranty and will cut 3/8" steel.
Price is really good $260

The price is typical for this size plasma cutter that doesn't have a recognizable brand name like Lincoln or Miller for example. If you can find out who makes it for Jegs and then research the brand that will help you. Also, Jegs is a reputable company so I doubt they are selling inferior. Also, and this is always the big one for me, if you have an issue, where does it have to go for warranty repair and if it has to be shipped, who foots the bill for each direction. Shipping is really getting costly for private individuals.

I ordered a lotos ltd5000 50 amp this morning on Amazon $293 shipped
They say it'll cut 3/4" I'll never need to find out though. I believe in have more n not need than need n not have. It'll be here next Tuesday.
I guess I'm on hold till then.

Good choice, I bought a Lotos Mig with spool gun a while back because they have a presence in the US as well as parts. The welder arrive and it worked great. When I tried to use the spool gun it wouldn't work.

Called the service number in the manual, a chap answered within a few rings and asked what I wanted. Told him about the failure and he asked a couple of questions and then agreed it was dead. They sent the replacement out the next day UPS and sent a return label for the old one. New one worked fine.

Had better luck with them than Ingersol-Rand with my compressor. Lotos make good stuff for the price.

Amazon changed the arrival date from the 28th to the 23rd. How cool is that...
I did a bit more research on lotos and liked everything I read. I believe its gonna be awesome and a 3 year warranty. I was sold right there.

Got my lotos LT5000D plasma cutter in to day. Box was in perfect condition. Contents are superbly packaged.
I have to change the 240V plug as i don't use that shape.
So off to town I go. I love it when stuff appears on the front porch!
Best $294 I've spent this year.

Yes I have.
It melts through 1/2" like butter. When I was cutting the 1/2" I turned the air up to 75 psi.
I love this little machine. The consumables are very expensive. JMHO.
I burnt the ceramic cup on the 2nd cut and had to wait 2 weeks for more (corona ****)
It really is amazing cut a bunch of 3/8 today @65psi.
I'm looking for a torch guide now. Love the pilot arc too.
