Just another exhaust post

Okay, so I currently have a single outlet exhaust and a muffler delete. Now I'm thinking about shortening the exhaust to exit in front of the rear wheel. What I'm torn on, is keeping or removing the resonator.

I thought I read somewhere on here that running the truck without a muffler or res it'll throw a check engine light. (Assuming back pressure) but I can't keep to find this post.

So does anybody have any experience running either no muffler or res and/or the before the wheel exit. Any problems with either?

Anyone see a problem with this set up?

You shouldn't throw a check engine light. There should be enough back pressure from the cats. The resonator helps with the cabin drone.but since you are going with the delete mine as well just take the resonator off to. I had my exhaust like that on my 2005 2500. Boy was it loud. Used to set car alarms off driving through Philly.

I have a y pipe and left the resonators. No check engine light.
