2014 CC with dynomax ultra flow SS catback with 2.5" tail pipes and 4" single wall SS tips. I painted them black and the driverside tail pipe was always missaligned. Dynomax just needs to bend the one bend like a few degrees more and it would be fine.

So I made my own to correct the alignment issue and get me larger, more filling and visual tips. Cost me $90 for the tips shipped and a few hours to cut and fab it all, then burn the tips to give it the blue hue.

Here are the pics so enjoy!

Looks great! Not crazy about the burnt tip personally but it is different for our trucks.

I will say it does look better on a black truck and would probably grow on me over time.

Wow I've been looking to getting a set of tips exactly like the ones you have. I don't need the burn style but looks good the way you did it!

Where did you get those tips? Do you have a part number handy??

Hey, that looks great! I like the burnt look, it definitely looks good against the black and sets it apart from the usual...

Stainless Steel Diesel Tip 4" x 5" x 12" Angle Double Wall IAD5124S Cherry Bomb | eBay

They are $50 a pop, but if you get both they knocked $10 off and its still free shipping bc they can get both tips in the same flat rate priority box.

Remember they are 4" inlet… so you need to fill in the transition from 2.25" (stock) to 4" and weld it on. Cutting the stock tip is an option but these tips are 12" long so you would have to shorten the stock tip extension with the clamping flange to set the tip back far enough. Then cut the tip off after the transition from 2.25" to 4" and then weld it on to the 4" stock nub. Hope your good at tabbing! Unless you have aftermarket but you still need to transition from the tail pipe DIA to the tip inlet size. I actually had to remove about 3" of my tailpipe tubing to set the tip back far enough.

Looks good!

They don't make them... Believe me I looked lol. Purchase a cheap set of 2.5 to 4" SS tips and cut them up, that's what I did. The dunk max single wall tips are $20 each and polished already 304 SS

Looks pretty cool. I am running 5" on mine as well. I was thinking of changing to 6" but that may be just a little too large!

I also run 5" tips on mine, and it's the perfect compliment for those rear openings in my opinion. :)
