Just my luck...fml

Figures some crap like this would happen to me.
I guess last night some ******* decided to run into my truck. I went to load my boxes in the bed this morning and the tailgate wasn't coming down... This is why. So I have the police coming here in a few minutes to file a hit and run...and I was supposed to start my move back to Texas tomorrow morning....figures.



Looks like they hit my bumper, smashed that into the right rear, and I guess the impact crumpled my bed on the middle of the right side...

Haha Gray, no I wasn't. Only thing I'd throw at a fellow Ram owner is a thumbs up! Just minding my own business at 11pm, parked where I usually am, inside sleeping. It was probably a Ford guy behind this....

Yeah it blows... Likely nothing will be done. Police can't do much because there was no paint transferred and no broken plastic, nothing to work with. I posted a Craigslist ad too, but its slim anything will come from there. Just another bump in the story called life, lol. I'm over the pissed off stage, until I walk out there and see it again lol, but its just sickening how people don't give a **** about anybody else's property anymore... Lessons learned.... The guy will get what he deserves though, it'll come around and kick him in the ass one day. I like to believe in a little thing called karma

Well me and my dad got a crowbar and mini sledge hammer and beat the metal out of the path of the tailgate. It can come all the way down now, took it off and beat more with the sledgehammer. Guess I'll be saving up money over the summer to do a bed swap from something out of a junkyard or part out... Not going to go through the insurance so they can charge me an arm and a leg...

damn man sorry to hear that, it sucks for me as well being down here in Florida... the number one insurance fraud state in the country. gata watch out for everything... even people that'll run a mile to the car when someone is backing up, just so they hit them and sue them. its horrible!

my friends car just got nailed on the side of the road as well, totaled the car!
