k&N at Hemi 5.7

it is really working to have a better fuel milleage ? (5.7 hemi 2006 auto)
70% city 30% higway

I'm wondering myself. I'm sure but don't truly know if any aftermarket air filter does anything. I would think a cai is better than a drop in filter but after the research I've done no one (3rd party) had confirmed that a cai actually does anything for mpg. Same goes fr hp and torque.
