This is a pretty good chart that shows the Kelvin color rating.

For anyone that was interested. I choose 5800K rated 50W bulbs for my Mini D2S projectors with 50W ballasts. I figured it would be closest to natural daylight that could be produced by a headlight.

For my fogs, I was looking at running 5500K bulbs on a 50W ballasts, which would make the bulb produce 4500K light output, which for a fog light would be a good color range with enough "throw" down the road.

Probably been covered in depth before. I've noticed a lot of posts about getting better bulbs or using LEDs to make up for the lacking performance of factory headlights. Figured this would help.

Thanks for posting this. I'm currently trying to determine what kind of lights I want to install on my quads.

I see a few posts about bulb upgrades and the like and thought some Kelvin rating info would help.
