This morning when I would try to start my truck, my dash would light up but nothing would show. No radio, no AC, no outlet power. The dash would blink on and off every few seconds. I check the battery voltage and it was good. I disconnected the negative for a few mins but no luck. I switched key fobs and it started right up. Do I have a dead key fob? It still unlocks my doors and I can set off my alarm and everything with it. It's like my truck didn't reconize the key when I tried starting it.

I'd try replacing the battery, maybe a low battery makes it not function properly for starting the car.. I'd think it would lose transmit before then..

Likely the fob lost its code for the autostart function, but kept the codes for the other functions. maybe the dealer can reprogram it if so.
