key fob inop

I have a 14 ram. everything works with the fob except when i get in the truck, insert the key , step on the brake , turn key it is not recognized by the truck. it says insert key. any help would be nice. I do have alfa and MX+. Thanks guys

The WIN module / key ign. switch. you can remove it with a phillips head, and a torx screw driver. watch youtube videos. the unit can be sprayed off with compressed air or cleaned and it may improve the connectivity

Update: I purchased a new ignition button / win module. It plugged right in and starts the truck, works as if there is no problems. However, the problem did go away, and come back so time will tell. But im confirming it was plug and play with no alfaobd

update: problem came back. got stranded in a parking lot today for 45 min. I tried all kinds of stuff, locked the doors, unlocked the doors. touched the button with fob, all this. tried 50 times at least and then it started. only thing I can say is it was cold today...im now thinking maybe an RF hub or antenna is not working maybe?
