Hello! So I have a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7. I have a key fob that’s just about worthless. Constantly super sensitive. It has remote start and will constantly start my truck up all the time even when I’m really far away or inside. I won’t even have touched my key fob and it’ll do it. Any suggestions to fix it without taking it to a dealership and having to get a new one(college kid I ain’t got a ton of money to spend on it). Thank you in advance. Also note I’ve taken it apart and moved the panel around to try and fix it and no luck.

If the rubber pad has collapsed it could be the problem. May find a new one on Amazon or eBay. I just bought a pair on Amazon for my truck for $16.

Yep, had this happen to both my FOBIKS, bought replacement rubber pads on Amazon for about $6-7 each, bought refurbished FOBIKS off of EBay too, cleared chips too. Figured in the future I might need them, stealer ship was over $200 each. I bought two new OEM FOBIKS for $49.95 each, programming by a locksmith was $40 each, in case you need a new FOBIK, the stealer ship is a rip.
