Kicker 40CS354's in the dash!

Holy **** what a huge difference these speakers make in the base system. Now I have to go find a hideaway to add some low end. I'm not looking to shake the earth, just even it out quick and easy, and think the Hideaway may be the way to go. Anyone mount one on the back wall behind the read seat of a Crewcab?

I'd mount it under driver or passenger seat. The feeling of bass will give you a sense that more is there.

a Hideaway or the VSS Sub box would be perfect. The sub box is a 200w 10", versus a 150w 8".

The VSS Sub Box would need an amp correct? I have an Express, and the white clips are under the back seats, but no wiring to them?

I just bought the 40CS354's at Crutchfield for the dash. $39 with free shipping and adapters. Might do the doors after a sub

i think you should do the door speakers before you do the sub...thats just my opinion. i replaced the front doors with the kicker CS 6.5 and the rear with the CS 6x9 and they made a bigger difference then the 3.5's on the dash....

I have an Express with the crap 3.0 headunit. I looked, ad I have no wiring in the back.

the kicker VSS comes with wiring that you have to run towards the front of the truck to make the connections to the battery and speaker wiring.
