What is the difference between the DS693 and the KS693? I'm sure the KS is better but is it a big difference?

Convert, for now.

DS is for lower power application, and KS handles more power. Either will work on a factory HU, anmd both work well with power. Just the KS handles a tad more power.
Coming out soon we have a new 6x9 component system, which is a 6x9 midbass, with crossover and tweeter.

Nah...coming from Kicker I'm sure it'll be affordable. Their pricing is pretty good generally.

Will they fit in the doors of our trucks?

Rear doors (quad\crew cabs) yes....driver and passenger side doors...no.

I'm getting kicker components for those. I have a similar kicker setup.
