Hey Guys! I am new to my 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 Big horn and I believe it currently has just a basic l leveling kit as it’s running 35’s. The front does rub sometimes when the wheel is Maxed out Right/left. I am looking at upgrading the suspension to Kings.. Where do I start? What do I need? What do you recommend from Kings?

Carli & Thuren both offer custom tuned Kings. They're on my list of dream mods, so please update this post if you do get them on your experiences.

I’ve always heard great things (Family all runs King’s) and they are super local which I like.

What product from kings should I be looking at on their website? Do I only need the front setup or both front and rear? I want the ride to be nice on the street as well...

Message me we can set you up with a great set up. We offer custom tuned Kings and coils from Thuren or we can set you up with a killer comb from ICON. Message me and we can see that the optimal setup will be for you. We have tons of options and we can narrow it down depending on what conditions you will be driving in and how hard/fast you want to push it!

It depends on what you're wanting to accomplish. I can't imagine anyone would spend the money for King coilovers up front and leave the rear stock. Here's a link to the Carli kit, where the description says they tune them for a "massive on and off road improvement."

And, here's a link to the Thuren set that offers 6 different stages of tuning depending on what your usage will be.

Hey Nick,
Can you shoot me a PM? I am still learning my way around this forum and how to run it on my phone.

Is it going to be a payment princess??
Do you want it super high??
Do you want a decent stance with lots of travel? “ haul ass off road”
Is the truck 4x4 or 4x2?

I am considering Fox now after talking to a few buddies. Unfortunately they don’t have any dodge trucks so they couldn’t help specifically with which parts exactly..

I’d like the truck to drive like a caddy on the street but be able to handle blue moon off roading. It is not a 4x4.

I believe there are some spindle lifts for 2x4 trucks, but I am not sure. So what it sounds like you want is a mid travel kit “to clear 35”s” and a little added travel with better handeling characteristics. Reach out to CJC offroad in SoCal and see what they have, they do a lot of Long travel kits and do a lot of Carli,Theuret stuff. I take it you are in SoCal?

Not sure what "blue moon off roading" is, but you probably only "need" a Icon Stage 2 kit or some Bilsteins. Their both digressive shocks if I'm not mistaken, and will work better more of the time if this is your daily. Can't speak for the "tuned" Kings from Carli or Thuren. I would do more research though if I were you.

The problem he is going to have is it is 2 wheel drive. Not a lot of selection for 2x trucks, icon doesn’t even make a kit for them. The front isn’t even a coil over.

Cst appears to have the most 2wheel drive solutions for ram.
