2012 Ram 1500 Hemi with only 27,434 miles on it. Right now I have Royal Purple 5w30 in it but normally run Castrol Edge 5w30 semi-synthetic. I remote started it after work and walked up to this wonderful noise, a very dominant knock on the driver's side. Any ideas as to what it is? It went away after the truck warmed up.

Exhaust manifold leak, almost guarantee it's snapped a bolt. Surprisingly common problem.

I had a feeling but of course me being me... I thought it may have been piston slap or something internal.

I'll definitely mess with it this weekend. If it is a snapped bolt or something like that I finally have a valid reason to get headers :)

If it is a common problem so in case it happens to me, what all do you need to fix it? is it just a simple new bolt?

eh I'm just gonna live with it until I can get some ARH longtubes

Take it to dealer!

They will/should fix it no questions asked. At least they did for me.
Especially if it's just an exhaust bolt.

Don't live with the annoyance if you don't have too.

Lol I would if my dealer weren't ***** and I'm out of warrantee. I just got off the phone with Matt at Moe's and I'm getting the headers next week anyways :naughty:
