I have a 2004 1500 4.7 there's knocking noises from what appears to be back left of valve cover I have a video but it won't let me upload it any help would be appreciated

If it's a LOUD knocking that doesn't go away engine cold or hot, idling or racing, it's likely your valve gear. Take the cover off and check the cam lobes for scratches on the surfaces, make sure the valve gear is very oily (no oil starvation), and that no springs have broken. I've also had the valve gear rod bolts work loose (??) although this would cause the engine to misbehave aswell.

Try to upload the vid to youtube and then link it here hard to tell anything without hearing it. I have worked on a ton of 4.7s I know them inside out could be many things making noise when was your last oil change? You can not skip them on the 4.7 they like to sludge up. Seafoam in the crankcase and a oil change does wonders on 4.7's have gotten rid of many knocking/tapping noises with just that.
