I just bought a 2016 1500 Laramie with the 20" wheels from a remote auction. I absolutely love the truck, but when i received it the rear passenger side wheel looks like it is missing what i would call the chrome "wheel skin". When i looked at the other wheels it just seems to be a plastic chrome plated skin over the alloy wheel. The wheel that is missing it looks like it has a bunch of left over double sided thick foam tape on it. I can't seem to find these "skins" online.

Can anybody confirm this is actually the case or do i need to buy a whole new wheel? These are the 6 spoke design.

You are correct. Another option is you could remove the other 3 “hub caps” that come on our $36k+ trucks

I would just buy a replacement wheel off ebay and be done with it. Once the cover is removed you ain't putting it back on if you could even find just the cover. You can use that wheel as a spare to replace the oversized donut that comes with the truck. Its a big PITA removing those covers and in the end you have a painted wheel that looks like it belongs on a work truck.

Around here, alot of the car dealers that "upfit" trucks to sell (lift kit, rims, tires) sell the stocks for decent prices. Or check craigslist.
