Laramie Mirror Tilt w/Reverse Option

from what i've seen all laramies including those with the towing mirrors have them.

Nice I want the flip out ones for 8ft wide trailers and big boats but for everything else I like the non flip out ones I have just fine.

I did not even know i had a feature for tilt till i finally had a chance to go through the EVIC system,,, i tried it some today,,it is weird for sure but then again,,,how about those out side convex mirrors--that's the weirdest of any thing besides driving a 1 ton down our local hwy's and the ride being as nice as our Camry.
I do a lot of goose neck flat bed towing and just got the new truck but the tractor is in shop and when it gets back i will be able to remove the canopy to start driving the pair,,, then i will know for sure as to backing,,, right now i think the mirrors tilt down just a little to far, i am going to try and adjust them up some and then back up to see where they tilt to, if it is a set position for tilt, ill just have to figure something out besides turning the feature off.

sorry for the late response, but yes, there is an option in the EVIC to turn it on or off

The setting can be changed in the EVIC on the Laramie. I personally don't like it when towing do I have mine turned off. I am not sure if new Laramie towing mirrors that flip out have feature but my fixed towing mirrors do have the feature in 2009.

If you have the memory seats then it should be there - just activate from the evic menu.

How can you tow using this option, I have tried to back my trailer up using it and it's terrible. Any suggestions because I like the feature with the backup camera except when I have a trailer behind me.
