Alright, i know this is a stupid question and has probably been asked a dozen times but I cant find an answer. I know what the sport edition is,(bumber, grille painted to match car) and i know what the laramie is,(chrome bumper, grille) So why does my sport also say laramie? It has the painted bumper/grille and says sport down the side, But it also has the laramie slt patch thing by the door as well. Its bugging the s*** out of me. Thanks for yall response.

Sport, Express, Laramie, ram charger, etc…..they're all option packages that can be mixed/combined. The window sticker/build sheet will tell the tale.

It's quite possible that early on Dodge put both badges on. Not sure because I've never actually gotten to see an early Sport up close.

Also, many owners have taken SLT's and converted them to sports by changing the bumpers and adding the decals. I have a true sport from the factory and it does not have the SLT badge. That isn't to say that they didn't put the badge on some of them. Check the build sheet.

I have a 96 Laramie SLT Sport full badges that say so. As posted above the Sport was a package that was added to the truck.

Same Here. My 98 is a laramie sport. I didn't know it was a laramie until i got my build sheet. But it's like a mix and match deal.

The Sport is merely an option package on top of the SLT trucks. Laramie is just a fancy named Dodge has tacked on to the SLT since 94.
