Leak, possibly from 3rd brake light

Has anyone else ever had issues with water getting on the back seat? Looks like it came in from around the 3rd brake light. Only happened once so far.

is your 3rd brake light stock? I heard where it has happened more when people replace their 3rd brake light. Take it out and silicon that ***** up and you should be good.

Yea, I recently replaced a aftermarket one, and put an OEM back in. Only happened once...wasn't too worried about it. But silicone should do the trick.

Silicone is nasty. I'd get some butyl for it. Butyl is a bit stickier........but you'll probably see the silicone mess. Not something I'd want to see on a show truck.

Clear RTV FTW, had to do mine when they removed mine to run the stripes.

Did ya get it fixed? I had a stock one that leaked a few times. It was a used one I had bought and had tinted. The seal around it had just deteriorated from age.
