Put in some led bulbs in the backup lights of my truck yesterday. I went down the road last and when I got back I noticed the lights had a low "glow". I didn't install resistors cause I thought they weren't need for backup lights. I only went like 2 miles down the road and back. This morning they don't appear to have that glow. Is it normal for them to "glow" for a little bit after there on or is something wrong?

Well. In simple terms, yes it is normal. My reverse lights and my cargo lights on my last truck both did this. They would glow for about 20 minutes and then shutoff.

Interesting information... thanks so much as I'm sure I'll wonder this when I (finally) get around to installing LEDs
