I just installed DDM HIDs in my Low beans and DDM LEDs in my High beans. Everything seems to be working but the LEDs are blinding. I’ve rad ggr clocking of LEDs should not matter in projectors ( I’m using the IEM projector housings on my 2014 Laramie Limited). Is that true or do hey need to face left-right?

Right now they face up-down. If they need to be left-right, how would I go about doing this, I see no adjustment to accomplish that.

Is the oem projector housing a reflector for high beams?
One: high beams are blinding anyways as they aren’t aimed towards the ground. They’re long distance not to be used if other vehicles are present.
Two: my led fog bulb replacements are designed to fit multiple housings so they could actually fit in different orientations depending on which way I aligned the tabs for install. Just had to find the right alignment. Maybe same thing for you? The led diodes should aim left right not up down.

I know in the reflectors they must be placed left to right in order for them to beam correctly. As well, the led board on the led has to be positioned to match placement of the filament bulbs. Most companies do not make them properly.

I'm really not 100% sure about the projectors, but I would think the concept would be the same.

I’m a *******, just realized my OEM projectors do not use projectors for the High beans. So I need to figure out how to get them to clock left-right. DDMs do not come with this type of adjustment built in, but hopefully there’s s way.

I’m a bit underwhelmed so far from the DDM HIDs in my OEM projector low beams. They don’t seem as bright as I expected and at 5500K they have a bit of a bluish tint. Would you expect that from 5500K bulbs? I thought 6000K+ would be bluish.

Anything above 5k starts to turn blue. Anything below 5k turns yellow. See if the orientation tabs allow for different positions of install.

I had the same issue with the LEDs in mine - the aftermarket headlights had rotated the mounts so the bulbs/LEDs were at a 45 degree angle. They had no adjustment either. At least on mine, they had the mounting collar attached with a pin so I just drilled that out, rotated things where I needed them and used silicone adhesive to put it back together. Been working great for 5 months now.

I did find an adjustment on the Saber LEDs, it helped but they’re still off by about 10 degrees and I battled getting them to fit in the headlight housing. My fingers are raw. This was not an easy install.

Thanks for the feedback.
