Can it be done easily? I think the matching blue of the radio and window controls would be slick. Thoughts?

It’s possible but you’re going to have to ask around. I would love to do it on my Quad Cab 2013 1500, but sadly, the Quad Cab trucks seem to be the most hated by Chrysler.

Are you referring to LED strips or just ambient lighting?

The trucks can get ambient lighting (for the door handle pocket and the map pocket) in the higher end trims, I think there is a thread or two around here about how to add it to lower trims but it would require parts and AlfaOBD to program it.

Hmm... not sure. I will look at the ambient lighting to see if that’s what I want.

Ambient lighting is like what all trucks have in the upper center console, just illuminating the door handles slightly but brightly. Hey look at that, i rhymed.

mine is an Outdoorsman, 2015 Quad. Don’t see any light on my door handles. I was looking for pictures, but haven’t found any yet.

I can’t find any either, lol. Just a tiny LED above the door handles, id show you in my 300 what it looks like but it’s bright outside sadly.

YES! I think this is what I want. Does the whole strip glow?

Not sure.

The one in the door handle is a small cylindrical clear plastic piece with an LED on the bottom (or top) projected into it.

Not sure about the map pocket one. Those pics are not my truck, I only have a lowly Big Horn so I do not have the ambient lighting. Thought about adding it, though, but not using the stock pieces. I can plug them into the correct module and enable to the feature, I just didnt want to have to buy expensive OEM parts to do it.

I ran LED strips under the dash and yanked the bulbs for added floor lighting. Also ran them under the front seats for the passengers. That was simple 3M stick it in place. This is a little more work, but I think I’m up for the challenge.

The map pocket one should be a simple stick in place.

Door pocket a little more involved if you want it similar to stock. My plan was to use a single LED and mount it in the top of the pull cup aimed down. I never looked enough into it, though, not sure there is room for that setup.

Something i’ve noticed but didn’t look into until recently is what the connectors were under the rear seats where the storage bins are, on my SLT they connect to dummy plugs, but apparently on higher trimmed trucks they actually go to lighting in the rear seats. My truck has the cutouts in the carpeting under the seats for these lights, and i’d love to install them. I already installed a glovebox light (no, i don’t know why you would have to install a GLOVEBOX light but whatever). But as people say, the more lights the better.

I’m going to do those as well. eBay all day for those.

Just adds to my list of push button start, center console, (possibly, idk how hard) sunroof, LED Puddle light/turn signal mirrors, leather seat swap, and the ditching of the ugly and cheap diesel gray/black interior for the lovely Canyon Brown and Frost Beige interior. I’m already getting projector headlights, LED taillights, and LED 3rd brake light soon, not to mention the 2018 Limited rims. Oh yeah, and i forgot to mention, remote start and the clutch fan delete. So much but it’s worth it.

Man, what a list! I just finally got Line-axed 2 days ago. Thinking the bed rack next for the yaks.
