LED grille lights

Can anyone tell me the difference between these two? They are raptor style lights. I ordered replacements from Amazon and thought they would work. Plugged them in today and nothing. Old light on the left. New on the right. I thought it was a simple replace, plug, and play...guess not.

The center tab that runs down the middle of the two metal prongs is longer. Might want to trim that a couple of mm's

If possible try flipping it over. Led are polarity dependent

Trim the inside plastic as stated. I would test with a 12v battery and test leads to make sure the polarity was correct. More than likely they are just opposite. But I installed a eBay raptor grille on a neighbors truck and the LEDs had a converter box the tapped into the 12v car parking lights and the LEDs used outputs from the converter. Hooking them straight to 12v would blow them out.

So it depends on what style u bought... most are direct 12v hookups tho.
