I added a LED bulb rear dome light no problem no codes
Added foot well bulbs no problem no codes
Added passenger no problem no codes but a pain in the butt to remove the bulb lol
Added drivers side bulb got a very light glow while putting and lights were off !
Tried different bulb same issue ! :O
Also noticed my gauge lights came on for a few seconds then faded out ! :O
Switched bulbs back to stock no issues !
I assume a resistance issue ? But only on the front dome lights !
I do not think the bulbs are Canbus
They were off E Bay
what are your thoughts other then you get what you pay for off E Bay lol
I assume it would be wort a try to buy a pair of Canbus bulbs from Auto zones :)
Just curious on the why

Thanks

I bought theLEDs for the map lights and rear dome light for my '15 from Enlight Automotive a few years ago but have had no issues with lights working/doing strange things. I do remember the website stating that the LEDs will work with the fade in/out.

Yea this was weird, The passenger side was fine but drivers side was not, It is possible I had 2 bad bulbs but doubt it ! will try again tomorrow ! I ran my truck with the 3 LED lights with no codes so almost there :)

I got all my LEDs from LASFIT ... everything on the Ram is LASFIT right now except for the low and high beams which are NINEOII leds and I have no errors with anything ...

same here, interior is all Lasfit. They stand behind their products also. No codes, no issues. Can purchase them off eBay as well.

Thanks I am looking at the Lasfit on E Bay and will order a set for the map light.
When changing the foot well bulbs I found that my passenger side the cover was missing :O and who knows how long it has been gone lol

I've had no issues with Auxito or Alla bulbs off Amazon.
Neither are sold as CANBUS-safe but apparently my 2010 is less finicky than the newer Rams.
(maybe 'cause it's still a Dodge Ram?)

Doesn't matter, it's the same base. A 921 bulb is physically larger, but they plug into the same thing.

Would the 921 throw more light ?
Well the weather was warn 30* so went and replaced the LED's on the overhead lighs again, Both work fine,, I must of had a bad connection before so all is good..
Taking out the 194's at first was a pain in the ass but I now have a easy way to pull those bulbs. I had a pair of wide duck bill pliers ( a fat needle nose pliers) and added a 1/4" strip of window insulation to the nose on both sides. Griped great :)

After trying many things to get mine out, I was going to try pliers that were padded, but first I used a little strip of Gorilla Tape pressed on both sides of the bulb, and using the tape "tail" like a handle it pulled it right out. I did the same on the license plate lights, and some similar lights in my motorhome.

I've found a foot long piece of fishing line and a slip knot works great. Slip the loop (hangman's noose) around the bulb and bulb and pull down. The bulbs pull right out with no breakage.

good idea

I have a few rolls of Duct tape I was going to
try then saw those duck bill pliers. And the window strip insulation worked great ! I will see if they have plastic duck bills then I will throw them in the glove box .
How hard was it to get the Gorilla tape off ?
or did you just chuck the bulb ?

It wouldn't be hard to get the tape off the bulb, but I just chucked them. I'm not going to go back to incandescent. Good duct tape might work as well, but Gorilla Tape really does stick.

I resisted LEDs for a long long time, but now my entire house, the exterior light fixtures, the interior of my motorhome, and the interior of the Ram is LED.

I think initially I resisted it because the color was so cold, but they really got the color temperature thing down now, and you can choose whatever color temp you like for each situation. Saves a ton of electricity, and in a motorhome running off batteries that is a big plus.

I agree it took me awhile to go LED in the house, Now all LED,
Once I git used to the white light vs the orange !
And so far liking the LED'S in my RAM
You make a good point about using all LED in a Motor home or anyplace that uses batteries or even solar as a power sorce

But you can pick any color temperature from orangish to very bright. Outside I use 2700k, which are very orangish, except on my motion sensor lights, which are very bright white 6000k. Inside some of the fixtures are very warm orangish, and others that I want to read by are bright white.

In my garage I had six overhead fluorescent fixtures with double bulbs in each one. I took all those down and put up four single bulb LED fixtures, and it's actually brighter now, and none of that fluorescent flicker. Also uses far less electricity.

In the motorhome with LEDs, I can have every single light on, and they'll be basically using the same amount of electricity as one incandescent. If I'm out boondocking away from electricity, I don't have to turn the generator as much, because they won't drain batteries as fast. Plus they don't really put out heat.

Thanks for the chart ! I always wanted to know the different K factors did to lighting !
I am running 6k in the cab of my RAM and it has a slight bluish tint to it ! Just like your chart :)
You made me pull a few bulbs in the house to check the k factor, The ones I pulled are 5k, Outside 5k and would guess the basement 5k , And Man the basement really lights up now vs, the orange color !
I think if I ever change the LEDs in the RAM or car I will try 4k vs 6k
