First I'm not good with technology and my phone only allows me to upload one pic per post for some reason. It's probably me, though.
So, finally got my light bar installed on my Mega Cab. It's from Amazon is a Chinese made Eyourlife brand. Had really good reviews. Was labeled under 28" but the housing itself is actually 26". 28" to outside of mounting bolts and 29" to outside of feet/bases. It is just tall enough that it won't fit in from the front side of the bumper so I had to go in throught the under/backside. It was the perfect fit between the tow hooks.
Overall the install was fine but a bit challenging at times as I had to fab the brackets from the truck to the light bars feet. I somewhat copied Rough Countries plates. I have 1/8" plate steel sandwiched between the tow hooks and the bumper mounting brackets. Then used two small tabbed brackets to go from the plates to the lights feet. I had to use two 1/8" rubber fender washers sandwiched between to metal fender washers. This allowed the front of the light to sit ack about a 1/4" from the inside lip of the bumper. Should act as a vibration damper also. The wire harness was easy. Also from Amazon and is made by Opt7. The two cost me $166 shipped. Another $30 in steel and hardware.
I'll post more pics shortly. Enjoy and feel free to ask any questions.
