I got it from Trux Tech. They have a website, and they are on instagram. The only complaint I have is that it uses 2 screws on each end instead of one like most of them. Having 2 makes it a little harder to line up when you have to build brackets from scratch.

I like your button that's what I would want, and yes I do not have tow hooks. So yours came with a wire kit, that's good that would help it for sure. I just need to probably make more ground areas since I will be installing my HIDs this spring and that will take up some grounds. Question (if you know) is there any light output difference over a straight bar vs curved? I would think the curve disperses more light to the sides because of curve but no clue.

The harness has eyelets that fit about perfect under the nuts on the ends of the battery cables. From what I have read, a curved bar with a spot beam is about as effective as a straight with a combo beam. But I went the curved combo route and you can kind of see the pattern in that nighttime pic I posted. But yes I would say the curved throws a bit more light out on the sides.
Now consider this, you could get a straight 40" and the center would be more flush with the bumper that what mine is, but the sides will stick out still. This is why I went with the curved bar. Yeah I've seen those mounts, I like the SoCal Supertruck ones a little better though. The prices of them are stupid high imo.

Holy shiiiit that alot for mounts!! Especially for mounting a cheap 50 incher up there. But I can c that being a fair price if your throwing a $600 dollar light bar up there but damn lol

Last question (hopefully lol) where you mounted it, before you had the LED bar that area was just a solid blaxk piece of plastic right with no cuts out or anything? Mine is a solid piece so I'm assuming I'm going have to either cut it fully out so have it possibly sit flush, or trim a little to install brackets and have the bar stick out a little.

Oh no, you have to take that piece off. There are 4 plastic clips under the top edge that you have to pry out with a flathead screwdriver. Then you will see the 2 triangular shaped black pieces (1 each side, they are part of the bumper bracket) you will drill your holes in to mount your brackets.

I'd thought about getting a set of front tow hooks and mounting a light bar between them like a lot of guys have done, but if I can just fab up a couple of brackets and do it this way, it may be cheaper.

It all depends on how big a bar you want CorDog. No room for a 40" if you want both, but a 20" or 30" could fit and keep the hooks.

I don't have hooks on mine. I'd thought about picking up a pair at a salvage yard or something and put a 30" bar in between them, like a guy did on this 4th gen:

Man, that is slick, so slick I have probably seen pics of trucks with it done that way but didn't notice it! I would definitely do it this way if I would have thought about it! But you better measure 10 times and drill once, lol

You should be able to use either one, depending on what bumper you have (chrome or sport) and whether or not you have tow hooks. Grab a tape measure and check before buying.

I just measured and I would say a 20" is all you can do if you want it to be flush, due to the thickness of the light bar and the bumper brackets.
