Hello All. I recently got a 2018 1500 Sport Night edition. It has the stock LED Tail Lights and halogen reverse lights. After some backing with a trailer at night time I decided I needed more light. I swapped the halogen 7440 bulbs with D Lumina 7440/7443 Led bulbs plug and play kit from amazon. It’s a lot brighter when you put it in reverse, could use them as stadium lights but now my park sense for the rear is disabled. The lights do have resistors in them I did not do any wiring on my own they just replace the stock bulbs. Is there anything I can do? Should I buy a more reputable led. Thanks!

My first thing would be to disconnect battery, take old bulbs out, turn in some things like ignition switch to be sure all electrical is discharged, then reconnect battery and see if park sense works again. If so, then it is the light bulbs you bought. And just for giggles, did you disconnect the battery and discharge everything before you put the new bulbs in and tried them out? Sometimes you need to do that and do a couple turn on drive. Turn off cycles to get new electronics working properly.
