I have been going through and changing out the incandescent bulbs in my 2006 Ram 3500 (SRW) with LED bulbs over the last month or two. I have run into an issue with changing out the rear turn signal and brake bulbs in the corners. I swapped out the front turn signal bulbs without issue and installed a pair of load equalizers fixing the hyper flash.
When I installed the LED bulbs in the rear however I originally had no running lights (turn signal) but the turn signals worked. I turned the bulbs around and ended up with the reverse, I had running lights but did not have turn signals. I tried installing load equalizers later on with no change.
I removed the LED bulbs and put the incandescent bulbs back and moved the LED bulbs to the brake lights. I end up with the same results in the brake light sockets. One direction I have running lights but no brake lights, and if I turn them around the reverse with no running lights but brake lights work fine.
Is there something I am missing, needing to do in order to get the LED bulbs to work, or is it just not possible? Any help is greatly appreciated.
