LED Light Upgrade Help

So I've spent hours reading about upgrading to LEDs. I'm aware that exterior LEDs for 2013+ need to be CAN BUS. The problem with the interior dome light and map lights is that I cannot get to them. Unlike my 2010, on the 2014 there is a second piece of clear plastic between you and the blub.

Has anyone done a LED swap on a 2013+????

Not to jack your thread but I'm interested in the same thing just for a 2012 . Hopefully they are the same.

Inside is fairly easy, for map lights take a small flat head and pry on the side farthest towards the back, and for the dome light you pry on the some that clicks In to turn it on (don't remember which side) if you need help with exterior as well let me know

Got he dom but can't get the map, think I'm kind of scared of breaking it.

Ok I got the maps, exsept I broke the drivers side. When I stalling the cover I hit something that rattled inside.
So no how do I remove the complete assembly? I'm not sure what I knocked loose but now the light doesn't work and the cover is floppy it doesn't return to the start location.
As for the outside ones I have no idea how to remove those. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You know when you push the light on it pops back down, well my drives side doesn't do that anymore.

Looks like you maybe broke a clip? I don't know to be honest. And for the exterior I don't know about resistors and stuff, but the license plate lights you turn counter clockwise and pull out.. pretty simple

I got the plate lights, but the lights on the mirrors I don't know how to get at those, I guess they are called puddle lights?

Yes, they should be factory led? And they are soldered in there. Are yours burnt out?

OP, where did you get all the right size led's? everywhere I find canbus leds they don't list different sizes

Do you have a pic of the plastic piece you removed? I thought I broke mine but in reality I just bent a piece and I could bend it back. When removing the map lights, you want to put the flathead behind the plastic closest to the windshield, the opposite of the side that clicks.
