Hello, been reading about the required bulb type for the rear lights when dealing with a circuit board; curious if there’s any other hoops to jump through when swapping led lights in to other exterior lights (ie. Headlights fogs and front turn signals)?

LEDs have different electrical resistance and can make your truck think something is wrong, and do the rapid flashy thing that is does when you have a bulb out. The ghetto way is to add a resistor, but I'm sure there's some better way to do it.

Better off just getting a whole compatible replacement, like these:

These were on my 2003 and were plug and play. Got rid of that incessant 'lamp out' ding once and for all. Available if you are interested.
