Led reverse light bulbs ?'s

Can I just replace them with normal led bulbs or do they need a certain resistor or anything? Also what is the bulb number for them for a 2014 ram? Thanks!

7443 is the number. Canbus bulbs don't work, you'll need resistors if you want to get rid of the error message.

So no one makes a bulb with a resistor in it? I'd figure the oem bulb would need one unless it's just for led bulbs

You shouldn't need a resistor for the reverse light

I have normal led no CanBus in my 13 and 14 no error lights at all.

Error light in my 13 Sport.
I even bought the high end RetroSolutions CREE bulbs.
The error comes and goes. Comes on for sure if I leave the reverse lights on for a little bit.

I bought some LED bulbs from an Ebay member that was recommended from another member on another forum. They're real bright and I did not get any error messages on my '13 sport either. But every truck is different I suppose.

I get an error when I shift into reverse, it stays there for 5 seconds and goes away.
as for reverse light bulbs it depends on your truck.
some run 921's others run 7440/7443
I have a non projector headlight truck it takes 921's BUT I swapped TYC LED tails in (sport model look LED) those run 7440/7443's
go to superbrightleds.com theres a whole search available for specific vehicles.
