So I took some time today to install one side of LED strips underneath the truck. I spliced them into the dome light inside the driver side A Pillar. When the dome lights fade out, they fade out under the truck. When you hit the unlock button, green lights come on from the underside. I was really hoping that by me splicing them into the dome light wire, that they would fade out. Tomorrow I will be running a wire from the original wire, over the engine compartment and down to the passenger side to light up that side. Thought it was a decent addition to the truck and I really like them.

Lights installed. I will run the wire over to the passenger side tomorrow and possibly post another pic. Love the addition.

Great idea. Here in Virginia they are illegal to use while the vehicle is moving, so you wouldnt have to remember to turn off a switch so you dont get pulled over. Just cant turn the dome light on going down the road.

Looks really cool. Thinking of doing it also. Where did you get your LED strips?

Just did the same to my '14...

But they don't fade with the interior dome because I ran them to a relay.

Would you mind making a DIY guide? I'd really want to this!

Where did you catch the wire for the dome light? Where did you ground the led's?
