Just wondering and been thinking at the same time ( pretty dangerous ) about these LED work lights.

Anyone consider taking apart any of these widely available LED devices and transplanting them into existing light assemblies?
Was thinking perhaps ripping out an LED cube and sticking it into the clear reverse part of the back light or taking apart another LED work light and putting the top half into existing front fog assemblies. Obviously cutting existing assemblies would be required and perhaps some crude mounting to secure and seal. Don't matter as its all from behind the housing. Thoughts?

What did I tell you about trying to create some new stuff. Only the Limey one. By the way, if it works tell me how you did it

I think you have a problem Limey. But yes please on pictures of what you end up doing. All mods have to start somewhere right?

Maybe you can make them into puddle lights, if you don't already have them, on the bottom of the mirrors?

I do have puddle lights, yes. Only issue I can see is the dreaded can bus bulb out messages. Else a little cutting and fabricating to put led unit inside assembly can't be that hard right ?

I have faith you can pull it off. Wire in a little resister and you're in there like swim wear.
